How does a shared portlet work?

Once portlets are shared with others or embedded in third-party applications they will need the viewer to login with their relevant Questionmark username and password before they will show the contents.

An example of a portlet embedded in a webpage

If a user visits the webpage:

  1. If a valid cookie is not present for Questionmark, a Login button is shown.
  2. Once the Login button is clicked a window asking for their login credentials is displayed.
  3. Once the login credentials have been verified, the embedded content is available for viewing.
